Decades ago I began to share my belief system with my new teams before I even tutored them on simple knife cuts. Before you can train or teach you must share your vision and philosophy. This will give you the traction to go forward together. If a clear narrative of purpose is not given a chaotic and empty one will replace it. Simply to be followed one must LEAD.
